1. Product Description

Epoxy-functionalized magnetic beads react directly with amine, thiol, or hydroxyl groups on ligands. This chemistry allows for stable linkages without additional activation reagents like EDC.

2. Protocol

1. Wash: Wash beads 3 times with Coupling Buffer (e.g., 0.1M Sodium Phosphate, pH 8.0-9.0).
2. Coupling: Resuspend beads in buffer containing the ligand + 1M ammonium sulfate (enhances binding). Incubate 16-24 hours at 37°C or RT with rotation.
3. Blocking: Wash and resuspend in blocking buffer (e.g. 1M Glycine or Tris) for 1 hour.
4. Wash: Wash extensively with PBS to remove non-covalently bound ligands.
